VERY Oversized, shirt / blouse from Dressori's Itajime collection.

Dressori calls this style their CAPE SHIRT.

It has a mandarin collar, hidden button placket, side slits and buttons (4) on the sleeve. 

Besides floral and asian inspired prints Dressori does a lot of Japense Shibori prints as well.

Shibori (the art of Japanese dyeing) has many different techniques.  This particular blouse is based on what is known as Itajime Shibori which involves folds that create a beautiful, repeating mosaic.

This particular blouse is made up of black and white with indigo shades of blue and purple.

NOTES ON FIT

Like a lot of other Dressori styles the cut is boxy and is meant to simply drape over the body.

I think it helps to think of this shirt as you would a caftan/poncho type top: it is quite wide but once you have it on draping your torso it looks fantastic!
