"Rose" embodies a heartfelt tribute within the "Flowers Of The Grave" series, honoring my late mother and her love of flowers. I've woven my Hungarian immigrant heritage into the patterns, inspired by Día De Los Muertos, a celebration that migrated from regions in Mexico to the community I grew up in. I am a guest in this culture, and I hope to honor its memory, my family, and the community that continues to inspire and give so much.
